Meet the Trainers

Sean Yeagar-Diamond
Sean Yeagar-Diamond

Sean Yeager-Diamond has been a part of the fitness community for over 15 years. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, he graduated from UCSB with BA degrees in both History of Public Policy and Black Studies. He then chose to pursue a career in the Health and Wellness field focusing on more serious education in Physical Wellness, and now holds eight certifications in the field.

Sean's own path began with a weight loss of over 135lbs. This gradual transformation gives him the unique perspective of someone who has experienced both the anxieties and successes of trying to achieve something seemingly beyond them. He then took what he learned from his experience with weight-loss to other personal fitness goals. In the gym he has developed from a novice in strength training into a seasoned professional trainer. Athletically he started cycling, running and swimming as a true beginner and has gone from a cycling enthusiast to a true race rider; from a runner to an event participant and coach; from a swimmer to a leader in large-scale multi-sport events. He has taken the first steps on many fitness journeys and has the experience to help you on your own, regardless of the goal.

As a Personal Trainer, Sean is able to use a combination of his own personal experience, knowledge, and passion to truly help others on their roads to health and wellness. He hopes his own struggles and achievements will allow others recognize that fitness, exercise, and nutrition can be a part of everyone's lives.

Jade Baxter
Jade Baxter, MS

Jade Baxter is a Santa Barbara native with over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Exercise and Rehab Science, and as a former professional dancer and choreographer she brings her unique style of teaching with lots of personality, enthusiasm, and an eye for proper form and technique. In addition, she holds several certifications including Personal Training through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Group Exercise through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), Cardio Kickboxing, National Association of Speed and Explosion (NASE), and TRX Training.

The experience gained through Jade's Master's Degree program and Corrective Exercise Specialty through NASM allows her to work on pain intervention and management, performance improvement for athletes and exercisers, post rehabilitation, pre-habilitation, postural analysis and correction of muscle imbalances through exercise prescription. With these tools Jade is able to build a strong foundation for her clients, allowing them make to real lifestyle changes and realize their goals. She takes great pride and satisfaction in seeing the transformations in people and knowing that her influence has made a difference.

Lauren Holland

While in school studying Healthy Family Lifestyles and Child Psychology, Lauren started her fitness career in 2010 as a Spinning instructor. That initial choice sparked a desire to further her fitness education with several certifications from AFAA, Mad Dog Athletics, ISSA, and NASM. She developed a true passion for educating her community on how to lead an active and healthy lifestyle. This led to her teaching group fitness throughout Santa Barbara, organizing fundraisers, and directing the youth wellness and adult fitness program for the THRIVE Santa Barbara Foundation.

Lauren's fifteen years of classical ballet training helped her develop a love of human movement and an understanding of how each body is so unique. After many years of challenging herself through dance, Lauren had to stop performing after a severe joint injury. Through the process of extensive surgery and physical therapy, she developed a very personal passion for wellness. Finding herself unable to dance, and struggling to maintain a healthy lifestyle, Lauren focused her energy towards studying biomechanics and proper nutrition. Her personal experience with perseverance through injury encouraged Lauren to pass on her knowledge to her clients in the hopes that they could achieve their goals and also find ways to enjoy the process throughout their lives.

Lauren feels that a clear and unique plan is essential in order for us to be successful at caring for ourselves. She seeks to teach her clients to respect their body first, and then implement a specific method that they will enjoy and continue for a lifetime.

Denver Dale

Denver's passion for fitness began shortly after enlisting in the US Marine Corps. During boot camp; Denver was tasked with assisting less able marines with conditioning in order to pass the physical evaluations. After graduation, Denver went on to assist his fellow marines with exercise, diet, swimming and water survival, as well as other military skills.

After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Anthropology, Denver returned to Santa Barbara City College to study Kinesiology and Exercise Science. During his studies, Denver became certified as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and earned his AA in Exercise Science.

Denver currently holds certifications in personal training, and functional movement screening / assessment. He continues to strive towards a deeper understanding of exercise, health, and wellness.
